R8a is a medium size near/mid field active Bi-Amp monitors. Designed for recording studios, broadcast suites and private studios. It utilises a single 8” custom LF driver and 1,75 neodymium HF compression driver of titanium diaphragm on Aluminium DC 60°X 40° Horn. R8 offer an exceptional and accurate response like a sound stage along with the ability to produce a high SPL when required. Four setup avilable from Powersoft sytem amplifier.

The cabinet is from Baltic birch features craftsmanship Every cabinet is coated with a high-tech black textured polywater scratch free finish and custom RAL is possible on request.The system includes mounting hardware for positioning the speakers on optional stands.

R8 Amplifier

Compact and powerful class D amplifier providing up to 400W + 400W in 2 channel mode. Excellent sound performance, with a high dynamic range and low distortion, high output power thanks to the latest generation compact PFC power supply, ensuring reliability and fidelity of reproduction in all operating conditions with low power consumption (0.5W in mode stand-by) The DSP controller uses a Devices Sigma DSP 50 MIPS, with 2 input and 3 output channels.Thanks to the 24bit @ 48kHz AD / DA conversion, 118/114 dB of dynamic range, the internal 56-bit processing and a complete library of crossover filters, equalizers and limiters.Supported by Powersoft's ArmoníaPlus control software, it offers quick and easy access to DSP functionality via a simple Ethernet cable, including some proprietary algorithms such as the Frequency Dependent RMS Limiter. The Amlpifier module DSP is configured: one inputs 2 Out way dedicated for R8 speakers.
